Druid Theatre’s The Walworth Farce
Sydney Theatre presents a Druid Theatre Production
Presented with the support of Culture Ireland and by arrangement with Arts Projects Australia
The Walworth Farce
by Enda Walsh
Hilarious, horrifying and ferociously entertaining, The Walworth Farce is an achingly tender insight into what happens when we become stuck in the stories we tell ourselves about our lives. The production has been the toast of festivals and theatres around the world, including London’s National Theatre, for the last two years and comes to Sydney for its last performances after seasons at the Perth, Adelaide and New Zealand Festivals.
Performed by Michael Glenn Murphy, Tadhg Murphy, Mercy Ojelade and Raymond Scannell; Directed by Mikel Murfi; Set & Costume Design by Sabine Dargent; Lighting Design by Paul Keogan.
Wednesday 14 April to Saturday 24 April at 8pm, Sydney Theatre, 22 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, Tickets: $30–$85. Sydney Theatre Box Office: (02) 9250 1999 or sydneytheatre.org.au.

…loud, mad and viciously theatrical. Time Out
If there is a bleaker, funnier or more desperate play in Edinburgh this year, I’ll eat my hat. Lyn Gardner, The Guardian
Enda Walsh’s Irish passion play is loud, mad and viciously theatrical. Its ranting virtuosity and exceptionally grounded performances make it remarkable. Time Out
…ferociously entertaining. The New York Times
