Todd McKenney is already known as Australia’s leading man of song and dance musicals, starring in the ground breaking The Boy From Oz, and Singin’ In The Rain, to name just two. And now he is known as the colourful and controversial judge on the record breaking program Dancing With The Stars.

I’m thrilled to let you know that I am coming back for a return season in the Showroom at Star City. I’m taking a break from tv and dancing with stars – I want to get back on stage – live.

With countless awards and rave reviews Todd has made a lasting impression on Australian audiences.

Todd began dancing at the age of 3 at his mother’s dancing school in Perth, training in jazz, tap, acrobatics and ballroom dancing. He has represented Australia in ballroom and Latin American dancing, winning many international dancing titles. He was cast in his first professional musical, Song and Dance, in 1983. From here Todd’s career has followed a very neat trajectory with lead roles in Cats, 42nd Street, West Side Story, Crazy for You, and The Boy From Oz.

Todd McKenney Live is similar to my last season with some very exciting surprises. Max Lambert heads the 10 piece band of Sydney’s hottest musicians. Songs will include numbers by Peter Allen, Donna Summer, Van Morrison, and Frances Faye. Winners of the ABC Strictly Dancing, Ballroom and Latin Champions Linda De Nicola and Adrian Sieb, join me once again as my spectacular dancers; and Lita Stathis and Carita Farrer are back with me as all singing all dancing vocalists.

Also how could I not include those fabulous Golden Girls? Thirty high kicking seniors. This time doing disco! Hysterical! Proving everything old is new Again. And, Mary Schneider is joining us as special guest to thrill us in an off the wall yodel highlight. The Alps have never sounded so cool!!!!

Extra special guest is Pauline Hanson who will no doubt want me to ‘put my money where my mouth was’ and show her how to Cha Cha Cha. But just to even up the playing field I am making her SING!!!! We know she can dance… well… sort of… but can she sing?
