ECP is a Sydney based publicist specialising in music, theatre, dance and the visual arts.

Compelling and effective campaigns are offered across a variety of media, with a wealth of media contacts and excellent writing skills. My trademarks are a tenacity to cover every angle and achieve excellent coverage.

After completing a BA in Dance at the SA College of Advanced Education, Lord Harewood's 1988 Bicentennial Adelaide Festival was my launching pad.

In 1989I joined Sydney Dance Company and spent 6 years working on Sydney and national tours of iconic Graeme Murphy works.

In ‘94 I established my own PR agency and was contracted by leading organisations including Sydney Opera House, Bangarra, Museum of Contemporary Art, The 7th and 13th Biennale of Sydney, WOMADelaide, Arts Projects Australia and Maggie Gerrand Productions.

Together with Ree Izett we jointly managed the National Publicity for Barrie Kosky's unforgettable 1996 Adelaide Festival, with its legendary flaming Hills Hoist and Robyn's Archer 1998 Adelaide Festival with it’s sacred and profane themes and controversial poster.

ECP consulted to Museum of Contemporary Art from ‘93 to ‘96, and worked on numerous key exhibitions including Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe and Jeff Koons Puppy. In 1996 Emma was appointed Sydney and national Publicist for the 12th Biennale of Sydney which included Yoko Ono and Yayoi Kusama. The 13th Biennale of Sydney (The World May be) Fantastic was her second Biennale.

Her theatre highlights include managing the Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra campaign for Bell Shakespeare’s Richard 3 in 2017 and consulting to Griffin of many fine works including Lee Lewis’ The Bleeding Tree by Angus Cerini. Outstanding music projects include Katie Noonan’s Gratitude and Grief and Noonan’s Brodsky Quartet collaboration With Love and Fury and MGProductions Buena Vista Social Club and Bebel Gilberto. Concourse Theatre in Chatswood have engaged me to publicise many dance seasons including The English National Ballet season back in 2012 which opened the venue.

Recent projects include 2019 Sydney Con International Jazz Festival featuring Bill Frisell Trio, many APA tours including Gypsy Kings greats The Original Gypsies, Angelique Kidjo and Ludovico Einaudi, Sydney Opera House Joshua Bell and Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Australian String Quartet national tours.

In addition to Yoko Ono, Jeff Koons and Yayoi Kusama, Burt Bacharach, Lenny Henry and Michael Parkinson are amongst the many celebrities I have publicised.
